Save Coach Courneya & Coach Harvey!

What's the issue?

Two of our stellar Physical and Health Education teachers have received layoff notices. Coach Courneya and Coach Harvey are both trained International Baccalaureate teachers, but the district does not recognize PHE as an IB course. If these two teachers leave Roosevelt, our IB accreditation could be at risk.

How can you help?

Parent input can make a difference!

Attend a town hall meeting:
Wednesday April 26, with board member Beiser
Thursday April 27, with board members Barrera & McQuary
Monday May 1, with board members Evans & Whitehurst-Payne & Superintendent Marten
Meetings are held from 4-6 pm at SDEA, 10393 San Diego Mission Road, Suite 100, San Diego 92108. Some Roosevelt parents are already planning to attend the May 1 meeting. Join them!
